Duck Flat Wooden Boat believes that it has a responsibility to support the development of amateur wooden boat building and skills alongside traditional and modern techniques.
We offer both Autumn and spring boat building schools over a full time 2-week course, working with our instructors we will support, mentor and guide you through the journey of boat building whether this be a simple build or a more complex construction.
Many of our students come back time after time as they go on their boat building journey.
We will work with you to select an appropriate project whether a small dingy, canoe or a larger motor/sailboat the options are limitless.
