Phil Bolger designed Prince William Sound, her lines are based on Nat Herreshoff’s Coquina, A gorgeous, capable day sailer.
“Elf”, is a 16’5″ cold-moulded cat yawl, this one has been beautifully built in WRC and epoxy resin.
Fast and spirited (we’ll vouch for that), safe in strong winds and safe in rough water with a tired crew. Bolger used Nat Herreshoff’s Coquina as a model for the traditional looks. There’s dry stowage and buoyancy aboard, and room to use her as a camper cruiser. I gather the design request was from Alaska, hence the Alaskan name. Located in SA.
